Who We Are
Electro Discharge Ltd performs subcontract EDM and laser cutting operations.
How Your Personal Data Will Be Used
We hold and process personal data (name, company name and email address) about you in order to keep in touch with you and provide updates and information. We may also need to share this data with our customers for the need of security purposes. If we are required to do this, then you will be advised before any data is shared.
We may also keep other information (passport, driving license) due to security measures if you visit our site and are required to enter our production facility. We will usually keep this information for a period of 12 months.
Should there be any change to your personal details in the future (i.e. change of name, email, etc.) you are asked to notify us promptly. This will ensure we maintain accurate personal details and that we are able to contact you or another designated person in case of an emergency. If it becomes our intention to use your information for any other reason, we shall advise you of those intentions before using the information for the additional purpose(s), as well as advising you of any other details within this statement which may be affected.
Your Rights
You have several rights with regard to how your personal data is protected.
By providing us with your information, you will have the right to access and rectify your personal details. If you did wish to access your data, you shall have the right to view or receive a copy of the information in a commonly used format, such as a PDF document or an e-mail. Any information which is processed by automated means and is purely required for the performance of a contract may be transmitted to another data controller if you request it. You may also ask for the right to ask for the processing of your personal data to be restricted or even erased. Whether or not you exercise the right to erasure, the company will erase your personal data in certain situations and particularly when the data is no longer required.
Objections
At any time, you may have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. If you exercise this right, then unless we have compelling reasons not to, we shall cease to process your data wherever data protection laws allow. If you request that certain data be erased, then this may result in you being refused entry to our manufacturing area until certain details are received. If we are asked for information from our customer base for security purposes, we will contact you and inform you of this request. Refusal to share the requested information may result in Electro Discharge Ltd having to remove you from certain manufacturing processes.

Anti-Slavery Policy
Statement of Policy & Purpose
Electro Discharge Ltd is committed to combating acts of modern-day slavery from within both our business and its supply chain.
The company acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the company and with suppliers of goods and services to the company. Modern slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour are unacceptable in a modern 21st century society.
We have communicated our Modern-Day Slavery Policy to all our workforce, providing them with information on how to identify and report potential slavery within the workplace.
Contractors & Supply Chain
We apply reasonable due diligence to risk assess our supply chain and to use the following mechanisms to do this, and will continue to do the following:
• Risk assess our supply chain and contractors to identify any areas of high risk • Provide all findings to our employees and senior management • Any higher risk suppliers will be communicated with to determine what actions they are taking to eliminate the risk • Refusal to hold business with any suppliers who do not meet our standards and expectations
Slavery and Human Trafficking are serious crimes, and Electro Discharge Ltd are pleased to submit this statement outlining our commitment to the abolishment of these crimes.
REACH Policy
Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs)
Statement regarding "Substances of Very High Concern" (SVHCs) as defined in the REACH regulations and Directive 1907/2006.
If an article contains one or more Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as included in the Candidate List published on the ECHA website, ECHA must be notified if all the following criteria are met:
1. The substance is present in the articles in quantities greater than 1 tonne per producer, or importer, per year 2. The substance is present in these articles in a concentration higher than 0.1% weight by weight 3. The producer, or importer, cannot exclude the exposure to humans, or the environment, under normal or reasonable foreseeable conditions of use throughout the life cycle, including disposal 4. The substance has not already been registered for that use.
Our Position
Electro Discharge Ltd states that currently NO SVHCs or notifiable substances are contained within worked products sold by the company.
Electro Discharge Ltd is aware of its duties under the REACH regulations to continually review SVHC Candidates and Substances list and to inform and communicate with those companies in the supply chain to enable access to the required substance information for the protection of workers and the environment.
