About Us

Electro Discharge has supported precision manufacturing requirements since 1980. From our West Midlands base near Birmingham, we provide specialist EDM and 5-axis laser services to organisations operating in demanding industries.

In 2018 we relocated to a purpose-built facility in Cradley Heath, giving us the space to expand into 5-axis laser cutting. Since then we have grown our laser capacity to three Trumpf 5-axis laser machines and increased our wire and spark erosion capability to over 35 machines.

Along with MJ Sections Ltd, Electro Discharge forms the MJ Sections Group. Together we offer customers a broader range of manufacturing solutions, from complex eroded components through to formed and fabricated assemblies, all under a shared commitment to quality and on-time delivery.

Our operational model combines double-shift production and lights-out running to maintain throughput while protecting quality. We support UK and international customers with practical manufacturing input, controlled inspection and dependable delivery.
